It's still illegal to be drunk on licensed premises in England and Wales (not sure on Scotland).
Just distract them with a deep fried Mars bar!
The list of old laws is my laugh yet for the day.

OK, a dead whale washes up on some beach. What happens? Someone calls the Queen's palace so they can send someone out to harvest the bones? Now what happens to the corpse at high tide? Who keeps the scavengers away? "Quick officer! Arrest those birds!"
