Greetings to all. Feel free to post new threads as long as it's related to Corvids in some way. Go ahead and introduce yourself, and tell us what your connection to your totem is. If you have knowledge to share, by all means don't hold back. We're all ears here. Let's keep this group friendly and helpful to others here even if our opinions conflict with others there is no reason why we can't be civil. Take care and may Crow guide your step wisely.

"Let's talk augery . . . when did you first encounter Crow? What happened ? How does Crow effect you today?

Once when I was a new driver traveling via an overpass, I slowed because I saw a beautiful crow sitting on a guardrail. It crowed as though its voice was attached to a bull horn. Startled I braked. At a slower speed my tire then blew out and fortunately I was able to control the car and get to the end of the overpass. I now watch them for omens of law/danger/warning.

llunaticraven, that is so totally cool! I wish I could have been there! Ravens are the most marvelous birds, highly intelligent and sensitive.

Been away far too long, just checking in to some of my groups. And I wanted to share an experience I had last year. I moved from Washington, where I had a large group of crows that I fed regularly, they were my joy and brought me wonderment, when I moved here I missed my crows terribly, but here in the mountains we have ravens, so I set about making a feeding station for them, espcially since it was winter and food can be scarce. Anyway, I was sitting in my living room when I heard some odd noises, I went out to look and my yard was FILLED with ravens, they were lined up on my fence, all over the ground, covering the roof of my back garage, they were everywhere! It was ALMOST creepy, in a wonderful kind of way, I have no idea how many there actually were, but they were everywhere, it was awesome. Since then I have a raven in my pine trees, my sentinal, all the time. They even seem to laugh at me when I do something dumb out in the yard. Now I have the opprotunity to learn more about the raven, it's habits, personality and behaviors, and I am having a ball learning about them.

Hard to say if I don't know the circumstances in your life. They come around for all sorts of reason. Mostly though Ravens are messengers of certain Gods. Crows tend to be guides for dead souls. So maybe trying speaking with your Gods and see what they have to say.

I have noticed the ravens acting strangely around my home in Arizona lately. They have been coming down to strut around on the ground, chattering nervously at me. What are they trying to tell me? I wonder if I should be concerned. I have never seen them do this before.

Greetings, Where has the murder gone? I LOVE crows. Every time I get too full of myself they show up and start mocking me! Good for the soul. Whenever they show up, whether it's one, two or a murder, I pay attention.
