That was a nice one. I think Rudrakrsh has a simple puja on her Samkhya Wicca website as well... http://samkhyawicca.org/

Moss, yes I can see how that is tiresome. I am privileged. I live in NJ, and the temple is about 15 mins from my house. very blessed.

I agree with you, Ganshmi. And I have run into local Hindu cultural centers who have chosen to not even respond to my attempts to contact them, because I am not of Indian blood. The nearest temple I know of where I would supposedly be welcome is in Atlanta. It's only about a 4-hour drive, but seems much farther, especially when you have no contacts at the temple or in its community.

I didn't get that ending message Moss.

I saw where he said it's in the heart, which the author said he agrees on, and though he is now claiming to be Hindu, he knows his roots were based off of paganism and looks fondly on it. He also states you do not have to learn the whole language but should use it as respectful.

What he claims is that some hindu temples will not let you in if you are not hindu, even discrimiates if you're not indian, but not all temples do. The world's biggest hindu temple is being built right in my back yard and I am allowed in there, so I plan on looking for a mentor when my life doesn't become as hectic. I plan on seeing their responses as well as my own research on the subject.

My personal opinion is that the gods chose their followers, as they have chosen me, and I see nothing wrong with that. I do agree that you should respect their culture, which I try to do to my best ability.
