Pagan Warrior Class

Pagan Warrior Class

A place to learn and discuss issues involving modern day understanding and application of the warrior mentality. In a time when issues like gun control are often boxed into political agendas of left v.right i believe its time for us outsiders to spell up and weigh in.

While invoking for visions of past lives,  I also wanted to know about my own Ancestral  Spirits.    It is in my quest to learn more about my Spirit.   My tradition  is Polish Pagan,  and Perun (or Piorun)  is the god of Storms, Protection (for Warriors} and Justice.   In my meditations and invocations - -have shown me in my most vivid  impressions as a warrior.   The majority of Polish Pagans were farmers who loved the land and nature.   But if anyone ever threatened their families, or land, directly they were known to be the fiercest warriors in that  part of the world.   In my existence now on this earth, I am an activist against war, and for our environment and Sacred Earth.  I am not afraid to stand up to anyone - and I have been outspoken.    I am still learning, but I have seen and noticed some amazing  truths in my discoveries.

I've long thought myself to be a warrior. I've been using this screen name for over a decade now. It's Sanskrit for "to attack" or something similar depending on where you get the translation. Latin is so overdone. To me, I think that's the defining characteristic of the warrior. The willingness to attack. It's an entirely different concept (to me) to defend one's self, or a loved one, or even a stranger. The desire to fight, and the willingness to do so (under the right circumstances) in a proactive, not reactive, manner.

Of late, I have given up living for the fight. I'm a (single) father now, and my honor is now secondary to the well being of my child.
