WELCOME To Vampyrian TempleUVUP for real Vampyres!

We are a Vampyrian or Vampire Otherkin Temple of Real spiritual Vampyres or Vampires for Divinity, unity, support, and strength. The whole purpose is to unite and educate the Vampire community on its abilities, capabilities, beginnings as well as focus on the spirituality of Vampyrism. We are a our own United Vampyrian Universal (eclectic) Pagan Temple in Ohio founded Dec. 18, 2003 (back when yahoo groups where popular). Our belief is all religions have there basis in truth just what people understand and by trying to understand each other we may come closer to the real truth. We generally are a Dark Goth Pagan Unitarian Vampyrian Temple and not everyone has to agree with that but we are an open minded Temple and hope you will be open minded too. I hope we can each share our own personal beliefs here and be OK with that. Take in what you wish and ignore what you wish; the main place to post long posts is: *MAIN place for most of our Information and add a page and our forum is HERE.

Vampyres should never eat animals but only eat humans...

Many modern day vampyres such as myself chose the different spelling to create a class of their own. As “vampyres” we are set apart from the fictional creatures and established as something quite separate. Vampyres are those which I’ve described many times before, the ones who need the energy of others to keep themselves both healthy and sane, but we are nothing like the vampires you’ll read about in horror stories or fairy tales. In short, the changing from “i” to “y” merely separates modern day vampyres from fictional vampires so that there is finally some distinction.

How does one know if they are a Vampyre? I still and will always believe that Vampyres need energy from other sources because there body does not have enough for what we are. I also believe we are spiritually different than humans and that what we are is a spiritual condition. The simple Definition of Vampyre is one who needs energy (Life force) because our bodies don't have enough because of what we are (Spirit or Soul). We take it through the blood (some of the life force or human energy is in the blood) of be the taking of it directly. Most Vampyres are tired and drained when alone but are usually hyper, often have high anxiety, and feel high and extremely powerful when around large crowds...

The word vampire is recorded in the Ancient Phoenician, Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopian, Syrian, and Akkadian languages. In each of these ancient languages the meaning is akin to “leech.” In Arabic, there is a related word interpreted as referring to a kind of demon. According to a Phoenician amulet, that contains an incantation against the vampire demon, the demon is personified as a “blood-sucker.” In the Hebrew text, this blood-sucking demon has two daughters who constantly chant “Give! Give!” The Hebrew text also alludes to erotic passion.

Clyde Lewis interviewed a sanguine vampire on his radio program last night. It was very interesting.
