Worshipers of Ganesh

Worshipers of Ganesh

Sri Ganesha, also known as Ganapati, Vinayaka, Pillyar and a host of other names, is one of the most well known Devas in all of Hinduism. He is easily recognized due to His elephant head, and can be seen with His Vahana (animal companion) Mooshak, the rat. He is the Lord of wisdom and success, and the God who removes obstacles and places them in our path. He is a guide through the jungles of confusion and…oh yeah, He loves sweets!

Ganesha is the son of Shiva and Parvati, brother of Murugan and half-brother of Ayyappan. He is the father of Santoshi Maa, and in some traditions, has three wives: Buddhi, Riddhi and Siddhi. He is associated with Lakshmi, Goddess of wealth and Sarasvati, Goddess of the arts. Ganesha is worshiped before pujas or before doing anything important.

If you worship this lovable deity, or just want to learn more about Him, this is the group for you!

Om Shri Ganeshaya Namaha!

I have not used one either, I have no experience with that stuff. But I am always interested to hear people's experiences with using one.

no. I still have the connotation that it's too easy for 'other' energies to come out and make portals and whatnot. Not going to play with one until I feel comfortable. I strongly believe people should learn how to use one though.

It's odd that I say that because I have a pendulum board which is almost the same thing, but eh. Wbu?

Besides pendulums, have you used a ouija board?

Comment by Ariel Ganshmi on January 21, 2016 at 9:45am

They do pretty much the same thing. Pendulums are fun :]

oh, I never heard of a pendulum board, I have heard of a ouija board though. I always wonder what it would be like to use a ouija board.

It's supposed to be a pendulum board so it is a tool you can use, similar to an ouija board.

That's cool, do you know whats the purpose for the alphabet and numbers on it, or is just for decoration?

Vercetti, My friend bought it but she bought it from someone who actually made it. [sorry just seeing this now haha]
