For many years, I've had my practices in multiple areas of pagan beliefs, but settled with Celtic Druid in the end. My former beliefs used to be Wiccan, Catholic, and general pagan. For a long time, I've been wondering if there ever was a pagan group in South Dakota, but using this site, I have finally a little bit of hope to find others like me. I'm not necessarily out of the broom closet yet, perhaps a foot out the door, due to the fact that my family is full of Catholics of which I don't want to risk my chances with. My studies in pagan practice involve sensing aura, charm making (halted), herbalism and alchemy, natural studies, and magickal studies. I've been a pagan for six years, and have known about magick for eleven.
Well that's the religious part about me. The general stuff is more boring.
I'm a college student majoring in history and English education, and minoring in psychology, I enjoy writing proses, poems, and books, I am an acrylic painter and cartoonist, and quite passionate about my political opinions( which may have added a few more enemies on my list of people I know....oops...).
Anyways, my dreams are different for everything. In general, I wish to become a successful writer and teacher in hopes of becoming wealthy enough to invest in bettering humanity in some way. Religiously, I hope to build a community where all pagans need not be afraid of the social norm looking down on them, and where everyone can be free to believe and think as the human beings they are. It could possibly be the best place for the eight holidays as well if it ever comes to fruition. Anywho, I hope to practice the freedom of religion in the possible future to come with respects to everyone else's beliefs as it should be.
All of the Tolkien Books, all of the Edgar Allen Poe literature, The Chris D'Lacey series, and more.
Beliefs / Practices
I have a tendency to return to Wiccan traditional practices at times to aid with my Druidic practices. I haven't exploded through walls yet so I have that going for me.
