Pine tops & clove vinegar.

Posted on January 9, 2019 at 8:03am 2 Comments

Made first supplies of this year. A vinegar infusion pine tops from the Xmas tree and added a clove.

Cut of more pine tips from the branches added to an empty vase to save for future incense blends.

The rest of Xmas tree gets chopped into wood pieces for burning in my fire basket in my garden.

Happy Yule 2018

Happy Yule 2018.

A little cake and small glass of wine.

No ritual bath too much osteoarthritis so I can not get into a bathtub anymore. Neither can I sit on the floor with candles as I used to do.

Some candles and incense. It is way too cold, rainy and windy outside so no Yule fire this year alas.

Adding some more decorations/baubles to the Yule/Xmas tree.

Yule dinner is pasta.

Crafts diy Xmas/Yule trees with scent.

Scented Xmas/Yule trees using a blend of pine, orange and clove bud essential oils  I add few drops to fabric Yule trees.

Yule trees are hand sewn from leftover scraps of cotton quilt christmas fabrics. I use a quilt needle to make tiny stitches and used red 100% cotton thread. Some have leftover green organza ribbon loops. Stuffing is polyester bits from a pillow.…

I'm watching a television show that I downloaded, "Derren Brown: Enigma."

Hi Beryl, thank you for accepting my friend request. I’ve never heard of the TV series “Enigma”, I will have to try and find it. Texas has an interesting history. James Michener’s book titled “Texas” was a good read. It is a historical fiction which made it fun if you happen to enjoy those type of books. I believe in synchronicity, it does happen from time-to-time. The white rose in your profile picture along with your screen name beryl brought a moment of synchronicity to my life. I own a skull carved from beryl and in my last house in Houston there was a white rose bush in the backyard.

You have a good day also Beryl.
