Hi Vylet, Blessings. I am new here and glad to meet a fellow Queensland pagan. I loved your video you posted on Imbolc (2010). I would just like to know, is that Sinead O'connor singing in the background?

=)) thank you for that, it is not that I doubt myself but positive feedback is always accepted well and graciously with a humble heart =)) Been flat out myself with kids, I have 4 and all boys. Love them to bits and the lovely precious energy they bring and enrich my life with. Kids just constantly surprise me with their wit and outlook on life with the damnest things they come out and say and have not the frankest clue why I am rolling around the floor laughing my butt off. LoL.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend. =))

Responsibility in Magick--or--You break it you bought it

Posted on April 3, 2010 at 9:42am 1 Comment

I haven't been keeping up with my blog lately. I've had too much on at home, but I am hoping to remedy this soon, and be back online more regularly.

Something I felt the need to write about though, was a disturbing comment made to me by one of the "witchlings" I'm tutoring at the moment. We had recently discussed karma, and how the universe knows what you need versus what you want. She then described to me how if she were to perform a spell that gave a gain she didn't need, or… Continue

Paganising the Children: Finding Fairies

Posted on March 13, 2010 at 6:21pm 0 Comments

I try to keep my kids active, and I am teaching them paganism at the same time. This seemed like a great time to go looking for fairies!

We bought some cheap cardboard masks from the arts and crafts shop, and gave the kids markers to colour them. These are their special fairy sight masks. …

Herb of The Day: Lemon Balm

Posted on March 13, 2010 at 6:00pm 0 Comments

This is my favourite herb to use for the children. Its perfect to use for babies and up (babies get a much weaker infusion than older children).

Medicinally: upset stomachs, all childhood ailments, nausea, morning sickness, calming

Magickally: love, success, healing

I'll admit I haven't used this one too much in a magickal context. But my garden is flooded with it for its medicinal uses. Eat too greasy a dinner?… Continue

Herb of the Day: Rosemary

Posted on February 25, 2010 at 3:30am 2 Comments

This has got to be one of my favourites, which is why I'll start with it.

Magickally: protection, mental powers, fidelity, youth, healing

Medicinally: anti-oxidant, digestion, circulatory, antiseptic, mouth wash, respiratory, congestion

I love plants that do double duty! Mixed with thyme and echinacea, and you have a remedy for chest colds. Mix it with sage to aid digestion.… Continue
