Profile Information

Relationship Status:
Astrological Sign
About Me:
I first became interested in the Wiccan/Pagan community in high school. In the 7 years since, I have primarily been a solitary practitioner and attended a few local events in my current home of Virginia. I'm primarily Goddess-focused at present, along with a preference for Celtic and Germanic deities and spirits. Still, I'm open to learning and exploration. I'm more of the scholarly type, so let me know if you've come across any good books!
Favorite Books
-The works of Joseph Campbell (working my way through them)
-Mists of Avalon and The Firebrand
-Works on the history of medieval Europe, especially modern day Britain and Ireland
-Works on mythology, all types
-Psychology texts

Really, I read a loooot on the most random of subjects.
Beliefs / Practices
Pagan, Wiccan
Other Beliefs/Practices
I was raised Catholic and still study sometimes on the Bible and early Jewish and Christian history. There are some good nuggets buried in there. Plus I probably can't ignore my Christian ancestors and only focus on the Pagan ones.
Reading, cooking, exercise, chatting with friends online, reading some more
How did you find PaganSpace?

Blessed Be John! I like your new pic, very nice. It's great that you found a new historical site, and no I don't want to hear any long winded versions from it either.

thought of the week 1-26-9

a thought inspired by my friend Tonia

a thought about loss in our lives

in the shadows of the heart i grieve for a part of me that has gone to another stage in life leaving me sadden by the space that is no longer here to make me love still grows with each minute becuase i know who they are to me when they were with me. i am still blessed with the memories of those who have walked to the other side and await my spirit to reconect and sing songs of joy. until that time when my book of life is at a end i will rember all the chapteres you were in

peace be with you and in your homes
