Odin doesn’t save white people

The discussions on racism that keep cropping up reminded me of a video I stumbled onto on YouTube. I’m not going to post a link to the video, nor did I post a comment on the video list because I don’t like given the ignorant additional Views. However, the theme of the video was simple. The author was an avowed heathen who wanted all heathendom to pray to Odin to “save the white race.”My first reaction was to snicker—chortle—then guffaw, and this is the best-case scenario that one would get from…See More

Teaser "Theory" chapter of Theorematis Thaumatugia

I thought this would be a good time to expose a bit of my work since, it’s April Fool’s and I can claim deniable-plausibility. The PDF 1-Theory.pdf I’ve attached is a working draft directly from Word of my first chapter excluding the Preface and Introduction with no layout. My baby is part Mad Science, part Sorcery, and part Alchemical Philosophy, and goes by the name,…

Like a lot of people, I’ve struggling on and off with depression since the election, but this week I reconnected with my dark side and I feel better. That’s the side of my personality that giggles in the middle of horror movies. Loves to read Darwin Awards, and researches (in books) what human tastes like. Nine out of Ten cannibals agree — it’s pork not chicken so the bakers for the Sweeny Todd pre-show dinner are using the wrong meat. This dark half, maybe more than half, makes jokes about…

Fate an opinion

The bit of dialog below is the closest anyone has ever come to describing my view of fate or wyrd, and it has the additional advantage of being funny.

Vir: "Well, actually, I believe there are currents in the Universe. Eddies and tides that…

What I'm Reading - 11 Jan 17

Posted on January 11, 2017 at 4:26pm 1 Comment

I have a long history of writing comments on forums, but I’ve never really done a blog before. So, I thought I’d start simple, and just do reading list blog.

I’m not reading a lot of fiction right now. I have a used copy of Brian Lumley’s “The Clock of Dreams,” a part of his Lovecraft circle stories, that I’m reading in the spaces in between my non-fiction. I have a mild obsession with the Lovecraft circle authors, and in particular their older stories — the ones hard to…
