I am a beginner (with 20 years of off and on reading and curiosity). I am hoping to find people with a wicked sense of humor to talk to in my area (La Grande, Oregon) who would be willing to share thoughts or who would like to learn with another new person in this town. I would also be interested in a group, but would prefer an adult group over a family group. I am happy to be on a good path and hoping to share my enthusiasm with others of like mind!
Soooooo many, but am always looking for new books (I just call them paper friends hehe)
Beliefs / Practices
Spiritual but not Religious, Pagan, Witch, Wiccan, Other Spirituality
Unclear/open to any path that isn't overly restrictive.
Recently began canning, am sort of learning to sew. I like crafts done with recycled materials, gathering things from nature. I love to read but have no favorite book (sometimes I go through 2-3 books per day if they are on the easier reading end). I have made jewelry and micro-chain maille jewelry in the past and would like to again. I have also tinkered with lamp working beads in a very primitive setup, but would love to do more. My favorite current hobby is my bi-annual "scaring of my neighbor's daughter" (fully approved of by her parents, of course). Rustling bushes when she camps out in the yard, motion sensor mice in the flower pot (anything to make her jump a little). She loves all things scary and we both get a kick out of our odd pass time. It isn't as strange as it sounds, honest! I have a million minor hobbies, but I think that mostly covers it lol.
