About Me:
I've been a pagan for years, but just now am trying to get involved in the Pagan community. I'm a nature feak and spend most days outside. I am here to learn what other practicioners do. I grew up in Montana, hence I have a deep love and respect for nature in itself. I also have an easy affiation with animals, having spent more time with them than people. I read alot and spend a bit too much time on the road.

This is how my journey on the crooked path path started...
For the longest time, I had no idea I was a Pagan and I lived out in the mountains most of my life. After I checked out a book from a library about Pagan culture, I was facsinated by it. Especially after my parents found the book and I was in a world of trouble. I wanted to know WHY a book was so off limits. I also wanted to know why no one could give me an answer when I asked questions about religions. For years I was a "Religious Rouge" you can say; and had to hide any books or materials I had. As much as my family and their church tried to stop me from even looking at this path, they had no idea I was already pretty far down it. And it feels completely right. Its a bit funny now that I look back at it. No one should have to hide their religion. However between the combination of my rebelious teenage years and what I thought was right, I am now converted. hahaha. I know. its an odd story, but its my story.

You are The Tower

Ambition, fighting, war, courage. Destruction, danger, fall, ruin.

The Tower represents war, destruction, but also spiritual renewal. Plans are disrupted. Your views and ideas will change as a result.

The Tower is a card about war, a war between the structures of lies and the lightning flash of truth. The Tower stands for "false concepts and institutions that we take for real." You have been shaken up; blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.

Drifter Babbling

Posted on June 26, 2010 at 5:52am 2 Comments

I never stay in one place long enough to let my guard down. When I am about to break, I will leave. Being a drifter is a strange habit, well excuse me, lifestyle. It happens to people who have grown up as a drifter. Those with the classic “broken home” story, runaways, vagabonds, gypsies, and circus families. I believe it’s a form of escapism. A lot of us have the ability to have…
