Apollo entered Greece as a foreigner with his sister but became very Greek. At Delos, a shrine he shared with his sister and votive offering arrived and were thought to have come from the Hyperboreans a people who lived beyond the north wind and believed to be the origins of Apollo as shamanism in the Altai region of Siberia.
