Difference between New Orleans Voodoo and Hoodoo? Also about Saints and lwa?

If New Orleans Voodoo is primarily a magic tradition and hoodoo is a magic tradition, then what is the difference? Is it that New Orleans Voodoo practioners will work with/serve the lwa? An' if a hoodoo practioner begins his work by saying a prayer to St. Peter or Papa Legba does that mean the said root worker is practicing New Orleans Voodoo or an inspired form of it?

Also, I'm sorry I have to ask this too to see what others opinions or thoughts are on this subject. When praying to St. Peter (or St. Lazarus or El Nino de Attocha, etc) are you also praying to Papa Legba or vice versa? I personally think so as I see the saints and lwa as the same but I wanted to get other thoughts on this.

Awesome thank you so much! I'm gonna have to make it a point to watch these videos.
Okay watched 'em. Interesting. And how cute is Mama Lola? I just want to put her in my pocket and carry her with me lol. If god was a person that's how I'd picture it to look like. :)
No I haven't read it but Houngan Matt loves it and says nothing but good things about it and after seeing her I am interested in picking it up. :)
