From a religious perspective can someone explain this too me? Maybe it's about balance I don't know. But I'm talking about people who just take advantage of others and don't care about anyone but themselves. Plus serial killers, child molesters and rapists exist. Why do people who live off the government but make millions in un taxed drug money while other people work hard, pay taxes and strugle exist?

I know those are human/psychological problems but what about from a "gods will" type way why does this stuff exist in the first place? It's confusing to me and I don't want to do the does free will exist vs omniscience debate, but when I was thinking about this I did start wondering about that again because the way I see it they rule each other out-leaving different questions and answers for both concepts.

Don't you think that peoples power comes from their faith strength, and not from the god they believe in?

It is one of my lesser points, and I was asking Sylvester, who obviously has a graver grudge against the concept 'deity' in this thread, for understandeable reasons, also, I am not sure if a religious perspective can satisfy him when he could read Camus instead. The OP suggests a certain upsetment because of a possible pointlessness.

Any god that is just male...is not complete...

No wonder the word goddess contains god...

Yet the word god does not contain goddess...

Never could...goddess cannot be contained...

Ask any woman , who lives her essence...

Deism is a false concept , from the start...

Hehehehehehehehe...said her...;)

Not obvious to many in the world ,

Chad...

So every time any of us uses "He" to describe

"God" , as seen by many in the world , it only

reinforces that idea for those multitudes , or

the young just learning...

( Unless it is a form of mysticism , as Yod He Vau He...

Then the "He" , is generally seen as female...funny...;) )

No problem , Chad...

"It" is a strange situation , with language ,

regarding deity...

You are correct , as we both know , that

the word "god" , generally refers to male...

Yet if one discusses "God" , there are those

religions , groups , societies , etc...who do

claim only male deity , to the exclusion of the

female , or feminine , or a lesser position...

Which then gets into difficult territory , if others

who do not view "God" as such , attempt to speak

with them...

I was raised strict Roman Catholic until 13 , when

I rebelled against all dogma...;)

So , admittedly , I have sensitivity , and issues from

that imprinting , even now , at 56...reinforced over

the years , by interactions with overboard ( no ) fun

damentalists...

Thanks for discussing it...

Actually , there is application to this conversation...

There are both the masculine / feminine energies ,

in the idea of deity , agreed by us...

Yet , that does not always exist in society...

Let alone those who do not believe in "God" , or

consider deity sexless , without gender...

Then , there are aspects to deity , claimed as

loving , vengeful , compassionate , jealous , or

any other myriad of traits...

So how does this varied smorgasbord affect the

consciousness of humanity as far as behavior ?

Or does it ?

Are we wired in certain ways to act out patterns

of embedded archetypes of deity , or reject and rebel ?

And if so , why are there so many views , and options ?

As a teacher of my Tradition , I also show my students

the cycles of order , chaos , chaos containing order , and

new order(s) arising from that chaos...

Which deals with microcosmic , and macrocosmic cycles...

And , complexity , and entropy , both internal , and external...

How do the learned , or possibly embedded concepts of any

masculine and feminine energies and deity , interface with

physically observed cycles or constants , such as "violence

and chaos" in the world we observe...

And observing the concepts , ideas , interactions , and the

expressed and implied answers in this thread , illustrate or

reflect those ideas , in a microcosm ?

( not just for you , Chad...just my mental process )...;)

Chad what do you say to asexual species? There's a species of lizard with no male gender and they reproduce with out males. How do you explain this?

I could...not saying do...

Agree with what you stated down to chaos...

Not in my Tradition , knowledge , or experience...

As I know it , in fulness...order is a mere subset

of chaos...appearing , then disappearing again ,

a temporal state , which must pass , repeatedly...;)

No...

Your , and your teacher's version of "kabbalah" teaches this...

NOT all kabbalah / qabalah / kcebealla / cabala...etc...

You really do not know of what you speak , Callum...

Bring your teacher here on Paganspace...

I will rip him a new asshole...I am tired of you defining

any version of the qabalah , from your limited perspective ,

only...it is a dishonoring of the Qabalah...

Or however , you , or your teacher choose to spell it...

The Qabalah and Kcebealla are far older than you think...

Most likely your own teacher does not know...

Not written down...Oral Tradition , mouth to ear...

You have no idea of my sources , yet again you

stick your foot in your mouth...taste good ,Callum ?

I do not need , nor want , your bugaboo warnings...

And I passed through the gates , long ago...

And was asked if I wanted to stay...I chose to stay

here , and continue the work...

Some have called me an Irish bodhisattva...I laugh...

You can now correct your derailed braintrain , to

recognize there may be tradition far older than what

you know , have been taught , and those who teach

may be ignorant of...

Get off your high horse...realize you need a shovel for your

manure...

Best...

Shawn Blackwolf...

Also be aware the older Tradition had little to do with

what you espouse , and more to do with remembering

we are individual gods , and claiming our heritage and

position...

What you demean as the challenger...is what we are ,

above and beyond your Kether , or Crown...

We do not bow to a godhead...that is for beginners...

And integration in , and with , the physical world , is paramount...

I would not phrase it like that, also I am not really upset about Callum himself. But there is something about his presentation which is extremely provoking due to a certain strong dissonance I can't put my finger on right now.

I perceive too much focus on things like compulsion and addiction, not to mention the masochist vibe.

Can you cut yourself some slack, Callum? You are a healthy, goodlooking young male with actually some intelligence, wtf?!

I understand your position , Maire...

At least I believe I do...;)...

I put it that way , because I have been a teacher

of the Kcebealla and Qabalah , for many years , and

if one of my students acted like Callum , I would kick

their ass until they stopped...

I have seen many young and eager students , latch

onto a tradition , or path , and become fanatic and

think they , or their teacher , know it all , and begin

acting that way...

If my students put me on a pedestal , I refuse to teach

them , until they cease...if they think they can act like

Callum does , stating the tradition is only one way , and

everyone else is wrong...and I hear them , or see it...

I am a wrathful god...;)...lol...

There are 77 levels to the teachings I am aware of...

Callum is a beginner , with a few bits of information

under his belt...and he cannot take criticism , and

be open to information outside of the blinders he

chooses to persist in wearing...

I hope his teacher can correct these situations , or

"faults" , before he finds himself alienating many others...

He wants to follow his path...more power to him...

Yet , he has become blinded to his own Qlippoth...

And he teeters on the edge of his abyss...;)

The "dark night of the soul" , does tend to cause

one to look in the mirror...

I have been there...and visit when I find the need...

I wish him luck...and fortune...yet I shall not tolerate

his malarkey , anymore...:)
