So I read in a book once

 return evil for good

At the time I did not understand it but now I do and as such I live my life by this but what are some of your opinions on this.

I think it is "return good to those that do evil against you".......

Yes it means that but I would like to see how many agree with such a statement.My friend she believes onw wrong turn deserves another but I believe in killing them with kindness.

I embrace the whole circle of spellworkings from healing to hexxing,and giving back what is given to me. It makes  ZERO sense to me to be nice to someone that wants to harm you or make your life miserable,that's just begging to be a victim. Returning evil for good Versus returning good for evil ,is a whole different meaning,reason, purpose and intent.....

I do not believe in it, no. I believe it is simple fact that we do not all get along, and there is no reason to force such a thing.

In times I have thrown out that saying out of my mind and hit them where it hurts(metaphorically)  speaking.As I enjoy being good I also enjoy being bad but only to the person whom deserves it.I dont like to make confusion but it would be a cold day in hell b4 I let anyone walk all over me.I'm a bit contradicting.

Thx for your thoughts.Much appreciated.

This.

Agree

Why would I do evil to someone who has done me good? Seems counterproductive.

WHY I pointed out,I believe the OP had it backwards....There not the same,returning good for evil,as evil for good....

Either way seems illogical to me.

There is no use wasting energy being good to someone who has wronged you.

This really is a matter of preference combined with a level of ability issue. If someone uses ill will or utilizes negative energy against you, it is rather easy to simply fill them with love and positive energy. This nullifies their ability to do you any harm and makes it less likely for them to do other people harm. You can also take the usual LHP measures. I have found both approaches to be fruitful, depending on the situation.
