Let Me In is an American remake of a Swedish film.  The story is untypical of vampire tales which make it a fascinating view and well worth the two hours.  I found it to be a suspensful and heart tugging film rather than scary.  I won't say anymore so you can enjoy the story for yourself.  You can find it for viewing on Netflix.

I did like this movie, though I watched the Swedish film first.  They are basically the same move, almost word for word scene for scene.  Though for some reason the Swedish one made more sense to me, perhaps because of the almost voidness of emotion, as that is not common is many American films.

I saw the Swedish one a few years ago. I'll check out the remake on Netflix. I'm a big fan of unconventional vampire films.
