Eamane's Library

'But to the last question,' Zelig replied, 'he probably flew to beyond the Dark Regions, where people don't go and cattle don't stray, where the sky is copper, the earth iron and where the evil forces live under roofs of petrified toadstools and in tunnels abandoned by moles.'

Isaac Bashevis Singer, NAFTALI the STORYTELLER.

It is hoped that all those who enter Eamane's Library will find something of interest amongst the numerous titles provided by you the reader. Then perhaps, you may like to discuss, comment and suggest new works whatever you wish.

Merry meet, glad to be a part of this group. Also, I am glad there is this group as I am wanting to learn from different aspects of Wicca. I have been wanting to develop knowledge as I consider myself a beginner and solitary.

Hi, I jus tfinished Silver Ravenwolf's American Folk Magick and thought it was pretty good... A book to avoid is Montague Summers A popular History of Witchcraft. He insists that all witches have pacts with the devil. Bad form really. I almost stole it from the library just to keep it off the shelves...

Hey Karin,
good suggestions for you there... also, someone somewhere has mentioned that Marion Green book, A Witch Alone. I really enjoyed that one. Kind of brit-orientated, which gave it some spice... some good exercises, great history.

Greetings everyone. I am glad to see more visitors and further suggestions here which I will add. Initially the list does seem a little daunting just take one section at a time. Good reading Eamane'

Try The Spiral Dance by Starhawk. It has plenty of meat with excellent exercises.

A good next step would be Scott Cunningham's Living Wicca, A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner. It is a sequel to Solitary Wicca.

greetings everyone. I have to appologise for my absence, my computer has been plagued with gremlins but thankfully I think I have resored it to normality. Thank you all for coming to the group and for your suggestions and comments. BB Eamane'
