I soooooooooooo agree with you Blue Lightning. The human race is it's own worse enemy but what can we do about it.

In the end ....its all about GREED. the human race is the virus that will destroy the earth.

I live in south Florida and of course while we were never directly involved with the Gulf spill, our west coast did suffer some. I was reading today where Panama City, in the northern panhandle was still showing heavy signs of tar balls on the beautiful white sand beaches. This is another example of a man-made disaster that could have been prevented had there not been the greed, had the regulations been enforced and BP, Haliburton, and my mind is playing with me now cause I can't remember the name of the other big company involved listened to all the warning bells and sirens instead of looking the other way. This catastrophe is going to haunt us for a very long time and cause major health risks not only to our wildlife and sealife, but to us as human beings.

We are indeed our own worst enemies. I believe that in the end, it will be ourselves that is our undoing. What a shame that a few can ruin so much for the rest of us.

i drempt a terrible dream, the gulf marine life either left or died, the grasslands were dead, fires burned on the banks, while the rich laughed, the poor died, but then an uprising started but was stopped because it wasnt profitable, and the children suffered and died
the seas eventually stopped supporting life and when the oceans died, so did the human race

The BP Oil Spill, in Baby Tattoos. This baby is fake, just so you know. Even so, it is perhaps the most disturbing display of outrage based on the BP oil spill. It looks so real, and those tattoos...they'd be stretched and faded by the time he could walk. But, it's only art.
