Greetings everyone! I've been looking for a few good book clubs to join on PS, unfortunately I'm out of town and probably won't be adding any discussions until I get back. My library is extensive and I can't remember most of the full titles and authors that I would love to share with you. Congrats on the purchase of The Magician Hecate's Cabanaboy! Blessings, Ianna:)

BB all,

I would like to take this opportunity to happily announce that, after looking for it for 3 years while working in 2 used bookstores and having no luck, I've finally laid my hands on a copy of W. Somerset Maugham's The Magician.

Has anyone tried reading the Richard Castle books?

I neither love or hate her, her books have some valuable information and some not-so-valuable, but then that's true of nearly every author. I read many books on the same topic but by different authors just to compare the similarities and differences in their practices.

Just finished Guy Gavriel Kay's The Fionavar Tapestry trilogy. I highly recommend it to any Tolkein fans! Kay actually helped with the editing of the Silmarillion.

Elizabeth, I would recommend Ellen Cannon Reed's "Heart of Wicca" for beginners. Its a very small book that brings the values and ideas, great for folks to get an introduction and see if this path is right for folks. If that works for them -

I'd recommend Stewart and Janet Farrar's "Witches Bible" its one of the best reference books on Wicca and is a foundation text. Very well organized into the practices and Sabbats.
