MM Both sound interesting.  I have so many I want to read right now that I'll have to put them on the back burner.  I will keep them in mind though. BB

I just finished reading WORLD WAR Z. If you haven't read it, you should. It's not what you think. It's a series of interviews with all sorts of people who survived the zombie apocalypse. The movie is only sort of based on the book; both my husband and I think there's no way the book could have been turned directly into a movie. It's also a political commentary, and it makes you think.

I've now just started A LOCAL HABITATION, the second October Daye book by Seanan McGuire. It's an Urban fantasy, set in San Francisco, interesting, rather dark, and different from other urban fantasies. The author does have fae of various sorts, many of them the Irish/Celtic fae, but others are mixed in there too, including a kitsune. October is herself a changeling, half Fae, half human. I really enjoyed the first book and am looking forward to reading more.

MM, I have started reading "Autumn Equinox" by Ellen Dugan.  I'm hoping to get some new ideas for Mabon.  I usually have at least two books going at once, that way if I hit a rough patch in a certain book, I can take a brain brake & read something else. Off & on, I'm reading "Solitary Wicca For Life" by Arin Murphy-Hiscock.  I was reading "The Triumph of The Moon" by Ronald Hutton, got to chapter five & figured out that I had no idea what I had just read, so I put it up & will try again in the future. How about you? What have you read recently & did you enjoy the book(s)?  BB
