Poem: Thurs

thunder rolling across mountain ,shaking the house awake in dark night

Odin’s fire, Thor’s Hammer…touching me, reforming me

Beltaine sex in the woods while the drums are still pounding, pounding

a wild dance to a wilder goddess and god

labor pains, delivery pain redefining me as I sweat my child out

spinning thorns joined to form Thurs just within my reach

might of the… Continue

A Life of Uneventful Days

A quiet uneventful day. It is funny how so many uneventful days make up a life. I planted today. Fall is a good time to plant for next year. Two plum trees, forty lilies, one coneflower, seven grape plants and two red raspberry plants later, I am ready to rest. I feel the closest to the Old Ways when my hands are deep in dirt and I am runesinging my plants as I set them in their new homes. Just as with canning and food preserving, it connects me with the ancestors who struggled and fought that… Continue

My World Is Changing......

I am writing this blog to vent on how much my life will change starting on Sunday September 7th. For this day I fear but also await in some sort of strange eagerness for a new beginning. I have never lived alone in all my years on this planet. From birth to leaving home to lovers to lovers I can not account for anytime that I have been solely alone in my own personal space for more then a few days at a time.

My partner and I have been together for 9 years and I must say there have… Continue

This is for all my frieds that have touched my life.....thank you all...I love you!!

Carrots, Eggs, & Coffee!

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water… Continue

Got this from my other will love it!!

A 3-year-old tells all from his mother's restroom stall.

By Shannon Popkin

My little guy, Cade, is quite a talker. He loves to communicate and does it

quite well. He talks to people constantly, whether we're in the library, the

grocery store or at a drive-thru window. People often comment on how clearly

he speaks for a just-turned- 3-year-old. And you never have to ask him to

turn up the… Continue

the craft of wisdom

LOVE the Gods and honor THEM, for They are the matrix from which the LIFE Force springs. Remember that this Force courses throught the veins of all living beings. For that reason, treat yourself and those around you as well as you treat the Gods, and the Gods, in turn, will love and honour you.

We are the children of the Lord and the Lady, Who rule the Universe and all that is held within its boundaries. Treat Them with parental respect and do not test Them, for They are not to… Continue

Sinking in the bottomless pit of the abyss

Immeasurably deep and cold

Chaos has become the way I live

its all so very uncomprehensible

the manifestations of it all is so painfull

and I do not know how to breathe though

it all. This phenomenon of life this

journy it seems to hard for me to grasp

these convection went down the drain I

no longer feel the same as I did yesterday.

Sensitive dependence on initial conditions… Continue

Meditations with Native American Elders-August 31

Meditations with Native American Elders-August 31

“Our Creator makes available to us all that we need.

It is an honor to go out and gather it. We must

remember to say ‘Thank You.’ It is honorable to give

away, to show our gratitude...

and to let the children

see this.”

Barney Bush, SHAWNEE

So many times we forget to say “Thank You” to the

Creator. He made for us and abundant universe. He

built the Mother Earth to repro-duce plenty… Continue

~crone wisdom~

Sometimes people get the mistaken notion

that spirituality is a separate department of life,

the penthouse of existence.

But rightly understood, it is a vital awareness

that pervades all realms of our being.…

Pagan Lore for Today, August 31

o purify the family spirits, Eyos (masqueraders wearing demon costumes concealed by white robes) walk through the streets of Lagos every year on this date. The Ritual Walk of the Eyos is a religious custom that dates back to ancient times.

On this date in the year 1934, Wiccan author Raymond Buckland was born in London, England. He founded the Seax-Wica tradition of Witchcraft, helped to introduce modern Wicca into the United States, and opened the first… Continue

two more poems

My Constant Companion.

Pain My constant companion.

Like a lovers embrace he hold me close.

So close it takes my breath away.

His touch; like Jack Frosts.

leaving behind splinters of ice.

He loves me to much.

For he is never far a way.

It`s like he is obsessed.

He always knows where i am.

I`ll be dancing by myself and trying to feel the rythm

,a moment of living.

And there he is.Wanting to slow dance.

And he always holds too… Continue

An endless expance of light ,reflected off of the clouds.

Blinds my eyes ,as i gaze out the window.

Whispered echoes of conversations,

drift past the constant noise: that is my mind.

And here i find a place, not past or present.

A vaccume of energy that lives in the now.

Behind the Mask

In the deepest hour,as the darkens falls.

You`ll see the reapers shadow, glancing off the walls.

It seeps onto the… Continue

I sit and cry with empty tears,

No ryme or reason to my fears.

From a lonley feeling deep inside.

I find a place to run and hide.

My mind has thoughts that run a race .

Tis they not i that sets the pace.

I try to calm the tide that roars.

Yet once again emotion soars

In the mirror is a face i see.

On the inside I know its me.

The eyes that look back to my own.

Are the things within;still unknown.

I pray for sleep that… Continue

Give To the World

What am i to do about the raging sea shore?

What am i to do about the blazing sun.

What am i to do with all the empty spaces?

What am i to do when hopes on the run?

Lets open our eyes and let a little sun shine.

Open our ears and listen to our fears.

Of our hearts give .

For everyone a chance to live.

What am i to do for all the children crying?

What am i to do for those who have no home?

What am i to do… Continue

poems again

Waiting for the pain to go,

Away from my creative flow.

As i sit and try to heal.

I wonder why i made this deal.

To spend this life is constant waiting

And try to keep the self from hating.

The vessel that this soul will give .

.Another chance to learn and live.

I can run and i can play.

Yet i cant hold a brush today.

The canvas sits and stares at me.

Wondering what it will be.

The wood is rough,and… Continue

What did U do?

What did you do to have to steal your kisses from me?

Do you think that all my loving is for free?

What did you do to steal your kissed from me .

What did you do,oh what did you do?

What did u do to have to steal your kisses from me.

Do you come home everynight and just watch tv.

Do you nod your head, when i get talking to you?

Even though not one word will ever get through.

Do you live like… Continue

Contemplating Chocolate

Sitting here with a pan full of brownies.

The rich dark chunks of chocolate glistening in between the soft chewie delightfully yummy treat.

The first bite creating juices, flowing into your throat.

leaving behind the essance of cocoa to linger teasingly in your mouth.

Waiting impatiently for the next rich satisfying bite.

This is what the word yummy means..

Thinking devilishly about the uses of soft melted chocolate.

Ah… Continue

Finding new Colors

As i sit within the doorway,

of my soul there shines a light.

In breaking into kindrid spirits.

There holds a beacon guiding bright.

As i enter beyond these halls.

For the ways are far and dreary.

I prepare myself for unknown steps.

Since gaining knowlege can be weary.

Lost In Life

Troubled emotions are what is wrought.

Dream # ?

It was the chase not the pace. Not the fear or lack of.

With myself and a boy ;not yet a man. And a wee infant girl ,she held on while we ran.

The places we went were a blur in my mind.We knew if we stayed we`d be found in no time.

We ran from the things we thought made us sad.We thought if we ran, this might make us feel glad.

Not a day for a pause, would you know the cause.?

With the little one growing, yet there is no slowing our race.

Last time… Continue
