All Beliefs are Welcome Here!
Was refer to this article by a friend on another site and thought I would share. It's very entertaining and informative. A really good read.
"Ding-dong!" goes the doorbell. Is it Avon calling? Or perhaps Ed McMahon with my three million dollars? No, it's Yahweh's Witlesses again, just wanting to have a nice little chat about the Bible... Boy, did…Continue

The Deathwatch Beetle is a small insect which makes a ticking or tapping sound as it bores into wood. The beetle is especially heard in woodwork, benches and wainscoting during the summer months.
In many American and European folklore beliefs, the sound of the Deathwatch beetle is a harbinger of death in the family. Various specific beliefs exist; for example, in Lancashire, England, it is especially ominous if the beetle ticks only three times. Records in England dating back to the…Continue

(NaturalNews) A breakthrough discovery has been made in the, an aggressive type of cancer that forms in the plasma cells of bone marrow. Researchers from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond recently found that, when combined with molecules from the anti-nausea drug thalidomide, turmeric, the active ingredient of which is commonly known as curcumin, is capable of targeting and killing multiple myeloma cells naturally.

Every second of every day, somewhere in the world the same scene unfolds.
A batch of several hundred eggs, precisely arranged in uniform rows, moves along a conveyor belt, coming to a halt beneath a machine linked to a jumble of tubes.
Once in position, the machine robotically lowers itself and then simultaneously punctures each egg with a rack of hypodermic needles.
Through these needles, a mix of vaccines and antibiotics is injected…

Processed foods are typically loaded with excess sugar, salt, unhealthful fats, preservatives and other additives.
But you probably know this already. What you may not know about processed foods is the extent of the havoc they can wreak on your body, a closely guarded secret that the processed food industry doesn’t want you to know.
In short, though they may taste good and be easy to prepare, when you eat processed foods you’re exchanging convenience for your health.

'Mictlantecuhtli (pron. Mict-lan-te-cuht-li) or ‘Lord of the Land of the Dead’ was the Aztec god of death and worshipped across Mesoamerica. He ruled the underworld (Mictlán) with his wife Mictecacíhuatl.
Mictlantecuhtli was an important god in the Aztec pantheon because, as ruler of Mictlán, all souls would one day him face to face, for it was believed that only those who suffered a violent death, women who died in childbirth or people killed by storms or floods avoided the…Continue

As a symbol, Shiva Nataraja is a brilliant invention. It combines in a single image Shiva's roles as creator, preserver, and destroyer of the universe and conveys the Indian conception of the never-ending cycle of time.
Although it appeared in sculpture as early as the fifth century, its present, world-famous form evolved under the rule of the Cholas.
Shiva's dance is set within a flaming . The god holds in his upper right hand the damaru ( that made the first sounds of…Continue

He poured it in her ear, the idea
of him on top, slowing time down
to enter her, convincing her
that everything would stay between them,
with his back to the air
and her bottom on the mattress,
their motions surrounded by
the smell of love and fabric softener.
She wanted him behind her, a…

I think I first became aware while taking Philosophy classes in college that people will emotionally disagree with someone simply because of the definition of the word being debated. There are emotional attachment to certain words that will create a reaction that contributes to the "heat" of the debate. The argument itself may not be logical, because of the emotional nature involved. There are certain various topics that trigger this emotional reaction that will cloud the judgement of others…Continue

Hi, I was curious if anyone knew of any good recommendations for sex magick books? Any feed back is welcomed.
Thanks in advance
It has always seemed strange to me that a day so many Christians oppose has become so commercial in a Christian way. As we approach the third harvest I find myself elbow deep in orange and black, putting up witchy decorations intermingled with natures own decorations. Indeed I now can't take a walk without picking up an interesting leaf or an acorn or a conker, etc and I can't go to work without examining the Halloween charts for new pretties to add to my endless to do list. Truth be told,…Continue

I'm a recent 'homelessness survivor.' I have two sons. I've been with the same man for almost 4 years presently. My step-mom died right after age 51, 12 yrs ago. My dad, the most important person in my life all my life (other than my sons) died right after age 69 in 2010. My mother, who I barely knew, died right after age 58 in 2012. I have no family other than my sons and two half-brothers that I've been trying to get to know. I also have two half-sisters. One I sort of know, via postal…Continue
