Day of Remembrance for Eyvind Kinnrifi



Eyvind Kinnrifi was a farmer of noble birth and a leader in Trondheim, Norway. Olaf tortured him to death by placing a bowl of red-hot embers on his stomach until his body burst open (although there are some historians that say he was actually Drowned with his loyal comrades). Eyvind’s crime was a steadfast loyalty to the Old Gods.
