Just what Power is I cannot explain for it is beyond my comprehension. Those who seek it go alone
that they may be tested for worthiness. It is a gift to be bestowed not only for virtue but for
prayer and courage.

Meditations with Native American Elders
“Look behind you. See your sons and your daughters.
They are your future. Look farther and see your sons’
and your daughters’ children and their Children’s’
children even unto the Seventh Generation. That’s the
way we were taught. Think about it: you yourself are a

The Creator designed us with a free will. That means
we function from choices and consequences. It is
important that we practice thinking about consequences
before we make decisions about choices. Every choice I
make is like setting up dominoes one after the other
that produce consequences. Not just for me but also
for my children and for the children that are unborn.

Sometime, someday, I will know how to take living in
my stride. I will know how to side-step a great many
things, and completely ignore that many more. Someday
I will learn to pay less attention to the unimportant
and stop fussing about things I had nothing to do with
in the past and cannot significantly change in the
future. One day I will have finally gotten rid of all
those things I saved for some reason, and then I will
have room for what I really like today. As soon as
possible, I am going to be less serious about some of
the trouble I hear about. Soon I am going to sit in
the sun all day and just be happy that I now have time
to sit in the sun and be happy!
Everything is sacred.
