All Beliefs are Welcome Here!
This week here on The Spiral Dance; FLORIOGRAPHY - the Language of Flowers!
Interest in floriography soared in Victorian England and in the United States during the 19th century, but Meaning has been attributed to flowers for thousands of years.
And so, for springtime, lets look at the magick of 3 springtime flowers; the rose, the tulip, and the dandelion.
Also, while the Snowdrop is more a HARBINGER of spring rather than a Spring Flower, I have a traditional story from Hans Christian Anderson called, The Snowdrop - it's a good story all year round!
Be well! Do good! Enjoy the show.
Some of the music you'll hear on this weeks show include The Inkspots: "My Wild Irish Rose"; Hot Club of Cowtown: "Forget Me Nots"; DeDannon: "The Banks of Red Roses"; ShoeShine Boy: "Atlantis MorningGlory March"; The Rolling Stones: "Dandelion" and more.
