Many people ask themselves, "what is the meaning of life and what is my purpose?" When I rejected my former faith and embraced paganism, one of the things it meant was that I was rejecting, at a core philosophical level, not only my world view but also the very answer to that question (the very role of most religions is to answer that question for you). This was something I did not truly or fully realize until I no longer believed in the faith in which I was raised.
First let me state that I was born into Christianity and I am not here to belittle or trash Christianity – that is not my point or purpose in this post. The fact is that I am and always have been an extremely and deeply spiritual man – it has been in me since birth.
