About Me:
I realize how long it has been since I have last logged in. I am working on this as well as many other changes in my life. Please be patient as I get back into the swing of things

---I am never really sure what to say. Honest...brutally honest at times, I do my best to word things in a way to get the point across without offending but there are times when it just isn't possible no matter how hard I may try. I am a mother and a wife; a family person and an individual; I consider myself both a daughter and student of the Earth and Mother Goddess, in all her aspects and glory.
I am of Irish and Cherokee descent from my Mother's family(and from what I understand, some Romany Gypsy as well)...and of German and Blackfoot descent from my Father's side.
I was raised going to the powwows as often as we could...when we were not, we were surrounded by family and friends who were going or who would from time to time take part. It seems forever since I have been in contact with that part of my family...
I often am told I do not talk or I do not talk enough. If I feel it is important enough or will help in some way, then I will say whatever it is, unless I feel that the words will be wasted because someone really isn't interested I what I have to say, then it is best for me not to say it.

Other Beliefs/Practices
Eclectic would be the easiest way to explain this. I have always felt drawn to Celtic and Native American spirituality...I attribute that to my heritage. I draw from those whenever possible. Natural Magic--this is what my Granny always called it...I am currently reading a book about Celtic Shamanism which has caught my interest. I would love to learn more about the Cherokee/Blackfoot spirituality(any Native American actually) and Romany Gypsy as well. Hopefully here I can find some of the information I seek.
I am a strong believer that believing in something is better than believing in nothing at all. There are many paths to the Creator and I follow the path that speaks to my heart, and I expect nothing less from anybody else. I love to lsiten about one's spiritual beliefs and practices an "why" ...I am not out to convert anyone to my beliefs because what I believe may not be the path for you. They all take us to the same final destination, the path we choose is for us to decide. I am not going to tell someone there path is wrong ...if it is what gets you through the hard times and helps you cherish te good times, than your path is what is right for is not my place to judge your path, nor is it your place to judge mine.
Spending as much time as I can out in nature. (I would rather be outside than couped up in a house all day long.) Reading, roaming the bookstores for hours on end, going for walks...whether it is wandering around a flea market, nature trails, or just walking around the neighborhood, drawing(very poorly I might add!!!!), writing poems and short stories whenever my Muse awakens, watching movies with friends and family...
My ancestors and family, close friends....My Mom for taking care of my dad in his current state of health and for raising me, my brother, and sister the best she could..even when we might not have agreed with her. My dad for always doing his best to make sure we were taken care of and provided for, and for always listening even when we thought something was too small an issue to talk about...those who stand up to make things change for the better even if it isn't the "popular" choice.
How did you find PaganSpace?
My friend Tae(and also my Colleen) suggested it since we have many of the same interests....

Charge of the Horned One....

Posted on October 23, 2009 at 10:10am 0 Comments

"And these are the words of Cernunnos, Herne, Atho, Beli, the

voice of the Horned One, He whose names are un-numbered:

I am the wild hunter of the forest deep

And I am the fire upon the hill

And I am the sower of the seed

And the tiller of the soil of the earth.

And I am the golden warrior

Whose arrows are the shafts from the sun

The thunder is my hoof fall

The wilderness my shrine.

I wield the oaken staff

The elements at… Continue

Charge of Hecate

I don't remember where I got this from, but thought I would share it with everyone.

Charge of the Dark Goddess, Hecate

I am the Queen of Magick, hidden in the deepest night.

I am the mystery of the other world and the fear that coils

about your heart in the times of your trial. I am the soul of

nature that gives form to the Universe.

My torches light the way for enlightenment and illumination.

My sickle of death cuts away things that are dead… Continue

Hi. I noticed you were in that other homeschooling group here and it doesn't seem to be very active any more. I just started a new group and I'm hoping to get active members. People who homeschool their children and who are looking to reach out to others who do the same.

Here's the link

Please invite other homeschoolers.

Blessed Be
